ANTIREPRESSION AND JURIDICAL FOLLOW-UP - from No Border Camp Website

Last week in Brussels, the No Border camp was marked by widespread arbitrary arrests and police violence, including tortures and sexual abuses in the police stations. These violences started from Sunday 26 and took a great extent from Wednesday 29 till the end of the camp: there were over 500 arrests and dozens of people injured. Witnesses, pictures and videos are already available on indymedia.bruxelles.

To do not let these serious occurring happen again and to support the prisoners, it is important much people as possible will file a complaint, either for preventive arrest or for police abuses. You can send your complaint to the legal team (any help to the legal team is very welcome!)

The juridically arrested people will sit in front of the preliminary court (where it will be decided to liberate them or to keep them imprisoned). The audience will be with closed door, a solidarity sit-in will take place at 10 a.m. in front of the palace of justice, a large participation is important!
